Ukrainian industrial metal project Soul Protocol are back with a new track — “Repeat Command” — a punishing follow-up that continues the sonic path opened by their debut single “We Never Know”, released on May 22, 2026.
Soul Protocol combine heavy guitar riffs, mechanical rhythms and dark electronic textures into a sound that draws from the direct, uncompromising energy of bands like Static-X, Ministry, Powerman 5000 and Rammstein. On “Repeat Command”, that formula tightens: the grooves feel more surgical, the machinery colder, and the vocals more commanding.
The track lands as part of a bigger picture. Three more songs are currently in production, all leading toward the band's upcoming EP “Operational State” — a release that promises to expand Soul Protocol's industrial world into something more conceptual and cinematic.
For a project still this early in its lifespan, Soul Protocol already sound remarkably focused. Where many debut singles reach for identity, “We Never Know” planted a flag; “Repeat Command” drives it deeper into the ground.
Fans of modern industrial metal — heavy but electronic, brutal but architectural — should keep this name close. Soul Protocol are building something with real intent, and “Operational State” is shaping up to be one of the more interesting EPs coming out of the Ukrainian metal underground.
“Repeat Command” is out now. Turn it up loud.
